The SHARE (Seattle Housing and Resource Effort) Auction is put on
by the Shelter Board providing support mainly through fundraising.
They run 15 Shelters including the only Day Shelter, a program
designed for those working evening shifts to find a safe place to
sleep during the day. SHARE is the largest and most cost-effective
shelter network in Washington State, including a Tent City 3 in
Seattle and Tent City 4 on the Eastside. SHARE is a completely
self-organized and self-managed organization, boasting the largest
and most cost-effective shelter network in King County.
