King County Rental Rehabilitation Loan Program

The King County Rental Rehabilitation Loan Program is designed to help preserve the existing stock of affordable rental housing and to keep it in a safe, decent and sanitary condition. Assistance is available in the form of a zero-interest; deferred payment loan for the following housing activity:

• Emergencies: which render the unit uninhabitable, are life threatening or are a health concern including indoor environmental emergencies such as mold and lead paint remediation;
• Major structural / mechanical system repairs;
• Access for persons with disabilities;
• Building preservation repairs;
• Energy conservation repairs.
